After graduating from the University of Cambridge, Andrei returned to Romania where, driven by a strong passion for business and entrepreneurship, he founded a couple of the stronger Romanian Private Equity Funds. He also started Good.Bee a service focused on “banking the unbanked”. It provides financial products as well as the technology and literacy needed to access them. For instance, it provides microloans, mobile banking access to these loans and financial education to make the most out of the microloans. He was also part of the Ministry of Economy, mainly responsible with attracting foreign investments in Romania. Andrei is a keen debater and snowboarder and considers his views to be Libertarian and Cosmopolitan.
